On March 27, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of a new mosque in Anau in Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat. Hadji Arkadag gave sadaqa-agzachar, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
The building complex includes the special building for sadaqa and rituals and several specialized premises. High-quality building and decorative materials were used to build the mosque, the architectural ensemble of which combines the age-old national traditions of architecture and modern practices. The entire area adjacent to the mosque is landscaped.
Hero-Arkadag congratulated those present on the new mosque, noting that the opening ceremony took place during the month of Oraza and coincided with the opening events marking the declaration of Anau as the Cultural Capital of Turkic World 2024.
