Uzbekistan to host International Multidisciplinary Olympiad

Final-year pupils from the CIS Member States, except Russia, will participate in the competition.

A. N. Tupolev International Multidisciplinary Olympiad for final-year pupils from the CIS Member States will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan this spring, the press service office of A. N. Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical Institute (KNRTU-KAI) reported.

Final-year pupils are invited to take part in the Olympiad; the applications must be submitted from February 1 to April 30 this year. The qualification stage, the main disciplines of which are the Russian language and mathematics, will be held from February 1 to May 1. The final stage with the disciplines — physics and computer science will take place from May 1 to June 20. It will be held at the Alfakom training centre at Amir Temur Avenue, 122B, 4th floor, Tashkent.

Together with schoolchildren from Uzbekistan, young people from the CIS Member States, Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia will compete in the International Olympiad. Schoolchildren who will win the final stage will get an opportunity to study at A. N. Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University free of charge on a state-funded basis.
