On February 14, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev took part in the Kazakhstan-Qatar Investment Roundtable in Doha, Qatar, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reports.
In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the Government of Qatar and the Qatari Businessmen Association for supporting and promoting economic relations between the countries. He emphasised the importance of a harmonious combination of political will and economic activity amidst modern challenges.
Tokayev noted that he had fruitful talks with the leadership of Qatar, expressing belief that his visit will contribute to expanding relations between the countries. He expressed hope for the contribution of all the participants of the Investment Roundtable to promoting economic relations between the two countries.
The Kazakh leader said the Republic is ready to offer tax and customs preferences, project co-financing, partial guarantees and export promotion mechanisms.
