On January 11-12, First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Japarova visited the UAE, where she met with the heads of organisations that protect the rights of women and children, Sputnik reports.
Japarova met with Director-General of the General Women’s Union Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood Al Reem Abdullah Al Falasi. These organisations have extensive experience of work in this area.
Aigul Japarova met with First Lady of the UAE and Managing Director of the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative Farshied Jabarkhyl to discuss the implementation of social and economic projects aimed at providing assistance to women in need in Kyrgyzstan.
The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Aigul Japarova Public Foundation «Ene-balaga tirek» and Educators without Borders International on the implementation of scholarship programmes for students in Kyrgyzstan. Agreements on the implementation of joint projects were reached during this visit.
