The National Bank of Tajikistan published the exchange rates of the major world currencies in the financial market of Tajikistan. The rates have changed somewhat after the holidays, the press office of the National Bank reports.
The Russian rubble remains stable against the national currency — Tajik somoni; 1,000 rubbles are currently worth 121.4 somoni. However, the US dollar shows an upward trend, its exchange rate has risen to 10.9620 somoni to 1 US dollar (on January 2, 1 US dollar was equal to 10.9571 somoni). The euro to Tajik somoni exchange rate has changed and is 12.0450 somoni to 1 euro (on January 2, the euro was equal to 12.0944 somoni).
The currency exchange rates in the banks of Tajikistan are as follows:
US dollar: 10.9620–10.9500 somoni;
Euro: 12.0450–12.2000 somoni;
Russian rubble: 0.1214–0.1230 somoni.
The National Bank of Tajikistan, headed by Khokim Kholikzoda, reminds that failure to comply with the foreign exchange regulations can result in administrative and criminal liability.
