Humanitarian aid and gifts donated in Tajikistan

Children received gifts from the Head of Dushanbe during the annual action.

More than 14,000 orphans, homeless and disabled persons and other people in need received assistance from Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, Khovar National News Agency reported.

Boarding schoolchildren and disabled persons received gifts, including food products, warm clothing and sweets, during the charity action organised as part of the Give and Gift initiative. Humanitarian aid was distributed among orphanages and homeless children from several boarding schools in the capital of Tajikistan. Gifts were donated to the orphanage, the Family and Child Support Centre, the Regional Social Services Centre for retirees and disabled people in Dushanbe and the City Hospital of Nurses.

Gifts were donated to over 5,000 employees of the city street and road maintenance departments. When presenting gifts, employees of the administration conveyed the congratulations from Head of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali. Children thanked for the gifts and presented their programmes to be implemented in Dushanbe.
