The State Unitary Enterprise for the production, purchase, stocking and sale of essential products in Dushanbe has stocked over 20,000 tonnes of food products to be supplied to citizens of the city during the autumn and winter of 2023-2024. According to the plan, food products must be stocked fully by December 25 of the year, the Khovar National News Agency reports.
To date, the enterprise has stocked 3,643 tonnes of potatoes, 7,005 tonnes of onions, 6,500 tonnes of wheat, 1,153 tonnes of sugar, 522,800 tonnes of vegetable oil, 1,020 tonnes of flour and 176,300 tonnes of rice. It is expected that the remaining 7,356.9 tonnes of potatoes, 2,995 tonnes of onions, 1,000 tonnes of carrots, 6,000 tonnes of wheat, 1,846.2 tonnes of sugar, 477,200 tonnes of vegetable oil, 1,980 tonnes of flour and 76,300 tonnes of rice will be stocked before the deadline.
«The stocked products are of good quality, purchased and stocked under mutual agreements with the companies in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and India, as well as the domestic companies,» the State Unitary Enterprise for the production, purchase, stocking and sale of essential products in Dushanbe stated.
