President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Order authorising a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov to make a business trip to Austria on November 26-30. The Turkmen delegation will take part in the 20th session of the UNIDO General Conference in Vienna, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
The Turkmen delegates will discuss key aspects of bilateral partnership in construction and industry and hold meetings with the high-ranking officials of UNIDO and the Vienna Administration.
As was reported, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiev met with Deputy to the Director General of UNIDO Ciyong Zou. The interlocutors discussed the current state and opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation. They focused on implementing joint industrial, environmental, energy, digitalization and smart city projects. The parties noted the importance of implementing measures to achieve priorities of the Sustainable Industrial Development Strategy.
