Bishkek will host an international expert session on the efficacy and affordability of medical products next week. The Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Telegram channel reported that the progress of the development of the Model Law On medical products regulation in the CIS Member States will be discussed.
«The event will allow hearing the opinions of the national expert community on key aspects of medical products regulation. This will provide an opportunity to comprehensively develop the main provisions of the future model law,» the IPA press office reports.
Parliamentarians, representatives of international organisations and academic communities from the CIS Member States and members of the Expert Advisory Board on Public Health at the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will meet in Bishkek. The session will also bring together specialists from national academies of sciences, healthcare organisations, insurance and pharmaceutical companies, patient communities, etc.
This is the second special public sessions on the Model Law in the CIS Member States. The first session took place in Minsk in June this year.
