President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev delivered a congratulatory speech on the Republic Day and presented state awards and prizes to the distinguished citizens for their significant contribution to the development of the country, the Telegram channel of Akorda reported.
Speaking at the ceremony, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev officially announced that the law on the National Fund for Children Initiative will come into force in the near future. He said money will be transferred to the children’s accounts in 2 months.
«Very soon our population will reach 20 million. This is tangible evidence of the sustained progress of our country and the people’s confidence in their future and the future of their children,» the President of Kazakhstan emphasised.
Tokayev identified the development of all the regions of Kazakhstan as a state policy priority. He noted the need to further develop the country in the face of new challenges and seek to build a large and united Kazakh nation who is ready for the future.
