On September 15, the head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with Yohei Sasakawa, the chairman of the non-profit organization Nippon Foundation. The ambassador noted that the republic uses international experience to improve the education system. He underlined the effectiveness of cooperation between Ashgabat and Tokyo in the relevant direction.
Atadurdy Bayramov drew attention to the fact that Turkmen youth studies at educational institutions in Japan, students of the republic learn Japanese, and scientists from the countries maintain regular contacts.
The University of Tsukuba opened the Turkmen language courses for local and foreign students. The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi and the Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan cooperate with the Japanese educational institution.
