Temporary restrictions on the operation of car washes, baths, swimming pools and other facilities that use high volumes of water were lifted in Bishkek as drinking water supply had improved. The owners of these facilities can remove the temporary seal by notifying their district curator, the press office of the city administration reported.
Those who want restrictions to be removed should inform the Bishkekvodokanal production and operation department about their intention. The phone numbers can be found on the website of the city administration.
According to the Mayor’s Office, restrictions were established to address the lack of drinking water in the capital city. The authorities understand that restrictions have caused great difficulties for citizens, in particular for businesses. Now the problem has been solved.
As reported, the load on the water supply system has been reduced now. However, Bishkekvodokanal calls on all citizens to continue saving water and using drinking water efficiently.
