Akylbek Japarov severely criticizes condition of livestock markets in Kyrgyzstan

The Prime Minister instructed that livestock markets be cleaned and paved within one month.

On March 28, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov severely criticized the condition of livestock markets in the capital and regions of the country during the staff meeting of the President’s Office. He noted that no favourable conditions have been provided for the people, who are buried in mud, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Prime Minister said he had received a video about a livestock market in Karakol. As was reported, Karakol is chosen as the cultural capital of the CIS in 2022.

The Prime Minister instructed that livestock markets throughout the country be cleaned and paved within one month; otherwise, the officials in the cities and regions would be punished.

He also added that in the digital age, social networks have become a tool that for effective communication, and the government agencies should have accounts in social networks and respond promptly to citizens’ requests.

Japarov said social networks could be used not only to respond to citizens’ complaints, but also to report publicly on the work being done by government agencies.
