On December 18, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the State Committee of National Security during his visit to Jalal-Abad Region. The President noted that as the world was rapidly changing, and science and technology were advancing, new challenges and threats to national security arouse, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
In this regard, the President highlighted the need to work effectively towards countering illegal actions that pose a significant threat to security, such as terrorism, extremism, ethnic hatred and human trafficking.
The Kyrgyz leader also underlined the need to ensure social support and protection and decent living conditions for employees who guarantee security of the country and its citizens.
Japarov said apartments for employees of the State Committee of National Security would be built in the capital and Jalal-Abad region.
The President noted that the leadership of the country would continue to pay special attention to the activities of security officials and support employees in their work.
