A Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer is set to launch an assembly line in Kyrgyzstan. Sputnik Kyrgyzstan reports referring to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic that a Sinomach subsidiary is seeking to expand its business and discussing opportunities for cooperation with the Government of Kyrgyzstan. Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev met with a delegation of the Chinese company to discuss key aspects of cooperation. The meeting took place in Beijing.
As part of a special investment policy, the Chinese company will be exempt from taxes for 5 years and allowed duty-free import of electric car spare parts. The Minister said the proposals are a good basis for the company to open an assembly line and dealer centre.
The Chinese businessmen are set to develop business and discuss the details of cooperation.
