President of the Association of Women in Energy of Kyrgyzstan Altynai Abdykerimova received a Certificate of Honour from the Eurasian Economic Commission for her significant contribution to promoting Eurasian integration, reports.
It was noted during the award ceremony that Abdykerimova was involved in drafting the international treaties and legal acts of the Eurasian Economic Union. The award was presented by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the instructions of Chairman Mikhail Myasnikovich.
As reported, the Association of Women in Energy in Kyrgyzstan held the International Energy Forum in Bishkek in mid-March last year. The event took place at State Residence 1. The forum focused on such energy issues as the expansion of renewable energy and digital transformation to achieve gender equality. The issues under discussion included the role of women in the energy sector.
