There have been mass layoffs in the Government of Kyrgyzstan. 14 officials lost their jobs, Sputnik quotes the statement by the Government of the Republic.
As was reported, under the reduction were 14 officials, and their positions in the Government were dissolved. The Resolution was signed by Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Alykbek Japarov.
The positions at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Development were cut. The number of employees at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Social Fund was reduced as well.
There is no information on how many deputy ministers in each of the ministries was reduced. These measures are being taken to implement the Resolution of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov on the optimization of budget expenditures.
Earlier, other ministries have laid off their employees. The positions at the Ministry of Natural Resources and the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation were cut. The reduction in force affected the deputy ministers.
