Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago Bolotbek Borbiev and President of the Asian American Law Enforcement Association Henry Lai agreed to conduct free seminars on the protection of the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens in the United States, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
These seminars will be held in collaboration with police and law enforcement officers of Chicago. They will aim to raise awareness of Kyrgyz citizens about migration and legal employment issues and prevent violations of local laws.
These seminars will be held on a regular basis, given the number of Kyrgyz citizens residing in the State of Illinois. This initiative will become a permanent mechanism to prevent violations of the rights and legitimate interests of Kyrgyz citizens in the United States.
The first seminar is scheduled to take place at the Kyrgyz Community Centre on November 16.
