The information about the sale of land plots in Kazakhstan on the trading floors in China has caused concern in society. However, Chairman of the Land Management Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Temirzhanov denied this information, Tsargrad reports.
Temirzhanov said agricultural land can only be owned by citizens of Kazakhstan, and foreigners, stateless persons and legal entities of Kazakhstan with foreign participation do not have the right to land.
He also noted that citizens of Kazakhstan who are married to foreigners or stateless persons are allowed to provide land plots neither for ownership nor for use. This information shows once again that the laws of Kazakhstan prohibit the transfer of agricultural land to foreigners. Thus, the reports about the sale of land plots on Chinese trading floors are fake news.
