A school student from Lebap province Kiyas Rejepov can pronounce words and phrases backwards.
Kiyas Rejepov - a student of secondary school No.9 of the Sayat district, Lebap province, Turkmenistan demonstrated unique skills in the «Amazing Abilities» nomination of the regional competition, held under the motto «Gifted Generation of the Epoch of Happiness». It was reported by the «Neutral Turkmenistan» newspaper on May 17.
Children aged three to seven took part in the corresponding competition held in the House of Culture of Turkmenabat. Kiyas surprised the jury and everyone present with his ability to accurately pronounce the words and even whole phrases backwards.
The boy’s mother is a housewife and father is a farmer. His skill was discovered in the fall of 2020 thanks to his teacher Ilyich Hemrayev. Before this school student has taken the first place in the district competition in the corresponding nomination.
Kiyas said that he reads words backwards by listening and does not imagine them mentally, as professional chess players do. He added that his favorite class at school was math.
Gulnaz Atajanova, specialist of the main department of education of the region, noted that the regional competition demonstrated that the Lebap province has many gifted children in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state.
