President of Tajikistan makes personnel reshuffles

The President appointed new ambassadors to Japan, Egypt, Pakistan and Qatar.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon appointed and dismissed a number of government and embassy officials, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.

New ambassadors of the Republic to Japan, Egypt, Qatar and Pakistan were appointed by the Presidential decision. The First Deputy Chairman of the Drug Control Agency was appointed. The management staff of this department underwent significant restructuring.

Personnel changes took place at the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies. Hakim Ismoilzoda was appointed to the post of First Deputy Director, and Morali Bodurshozoda and Isfandier Yazdonzoda were appointed to the posts of Deputy Director. The heads of several departments of the Drug Control Agency in Sughd and Khatlon Region and Dushanbe were reshuffled.

President Rahmon said all these personnel reshuffles are aimed at strengthening international cooperation and encouraging foreign investment in Tajikistan’s economy.
