On September 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Minister of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation of Saint Lucia Alva Romanus Baptiste held a meeting in the framework of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
According to the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the heads of foreign departments signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The foreign ministers discussed the prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Saint Lucia. They agreed to cooperate both at the bilateral level and within international organisations, particularly the UN.
The parties expressed readiness to promote friendly relations and strengthen interstate cooperation.
