Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Palvanov, together with the diplomats from the Central Asian states, met with Chair of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister. The parties discussed the joint events scheduled to take place in 2025, the press office of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan reported.
The diplomats paid special attention to preparatory work for the 6th Meeting of European Union and Central Asia Special Representatives and Envoys on Afghanistan, the 20th EU-CA Ministerial Meeting and the EU-CA Summit, which will be held in Uzbekistan.
David McAllister noted the strategic importance of Central Asia in international politics, economy and security. He emphasised readiness to cooperate with the parliaments of the Central Asian states.
