On January 22, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
Hero-Arkadag recalled that the Turkmen side outlined the key principles of water cooperation in Central Asia, including compliance with international law, mutual consideration of interests and involvement of international organisations, at the One Water Summit in Riyadh in December.
The issues under discussion included the implementation of agreements between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in the energy, transport and logistics and humanitarian spheres and joint events at various levels to take place in 2025.
