The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan continues to expand international air operations, opening new routes to China, Vietnam and Egypt, the press office of the Ministry reports.
In March 2025, Air Astana will launch flights between Almaty and Nha Trang (four times a week), between Astana and Nha Trang (three times a week) and between Almaty and Guangzhou (three times a week).
In spring, Air Cairo will launch flights between Kostanay and Sharm el-Sheikh (once a week) and between Almaty and Hurghada (twice a week) and resume the Almaty-El Alamein flight (once a week).
«The opening of new air routes will contribute to boosting trade, economic, business and tourism cooperation among the countries,» the Ministry, headed by Marat Karabayev, reports.
On June 1, Air Astana will add the Almaty-Frankfurt flight (three times a week).
Today, Kazakhstan has air services agreements with 31 countries on 115 routes and operates 571 flights per week.
