The delegation of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan met with the representatives of the organisation in Paris in preparation for the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, the press office of the Foundation reported.
Joint projects were discussed during the meeting with the UNESCO high-ranking representatives, including Gabriela Ramos, Begoña Lasagabaster and Lacoeuilhe.
The main issue under discussion was preparatory work for the UNESCO-Uzbekistan Beruni International Prize and the award ceremony in Samarkand.
The agenda included the preparations for the Great Silk Road exhibition, the participation in the Youth Forum and the discussion of the artificial intelligence readiness assessment report. Particular attention was paid to promoting Uzbekistan’s candidacy to the UNESCO Executive Board for 2027-2030.
