A presentation of the new book «Magtymguly — A Thinker of the World» by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov dedicated to the life and work of the great poet took place at the main office building of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector, Neutral Turkmenistan Newspaper reported.
The speakers noted that this literary work by the President of Turkmenistan is a valuable contribution to the study and promotion of the legacy of the Turkmen poet and testifies to profound respect for the history and culture of the Turkmen nation. They emphasised the importance of the book in bringing up the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, humanism and high moral values.
The participants paid attention to the content of the book that spotlights new facets of the Eastern thinker Magtymguly, his philosophical views and enduring humanistic ideals. They read the verses and quotes from the fundamental works of National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Magtymguly’s poems during the event.
