Rossotrudnichestvo has opened a new centre for supplementary education in Dushanbe, which is the seventh institution of this kind in Tajikistan. It is equipped with modern technology and has a library of Russian literature collections for readers of all ages, Sputnik reports.
Head of Russian Houses in Tajikistan Andrey Patrushev noted that the centres at the district schools actively operate, offering classes in Russian language, literature and history and conducting seminars for Russian language teachers.
The first visitors to the new centre were the activists of the Centre for Russian Language and Culture at the MISiS branch. The new institution plans to hold film lectures, advanced training courses, youth classes and presentations of Russian universities. The classes began with a lecture on New Year’s traditions.
