On December 25, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a message to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, expressing his deep condolences for the victims of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crash, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his sympathy and support to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the crash and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
As was reported, a passenger plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. Dozens were killed in the crash. The Resolution of the President of Azerbaijan declared a day of mourning on December 26.
