The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan announced the exemption from the visa requirements for nationals of 6 countries from January 4, 2025. The new rules will apply to tourists from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the visa-free travel requirements, nationals of these countries can stay in Kyrgyzstan for up to 180 days within a 360-day period in
It should be noted that the visa-free entry is allowed only for those travelling as tourists. They still need to obtain a visa to work or study in the Republic.
This decision was made as part of the strategy for promoting tourism and improving the investment climate in the country.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan decided to extend visa-free entry to guided tourist groups from China. Guests may recreate in the Republic for up to 21 days. This initiative is aimed at expanding public diplomacy and stirring interest in Kyrgyzstan.
