The Sea Breeze Uzbekistan International Tourist Centre is to be built in Tashkent Region. The project, presented for review to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will be implemented by a group of investors led by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Emin Agalarov on the shore of the Charvak water storage reservoir, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
The new centre will be a year-round tourist hub with a well-developed infrastructure, including recreation areas, sports facilities, hotels, apartment complexes and retail spaces.
The project will complement the existing tourist infrastructure in the region, where 59 facilities designed for 13,000 visitors with a total investment exceeding 2 trillion soums have been built over the past 5 years.
In accordance with the President’s instructions, a special commission led by the Prime Minister is being set up. It will provide legal and infrastructural support for the project that will adopt advanced international practices.
