5 major largest educational institutions in Tajikistan hosted the International Russian Language Week. The events took place with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation at the Tajik National University, Ulughzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages, the Dangara State University and the Kulyab State University, as well as at the schools in 3 cities, the press office of the Russkiy Mir Foundation reported.
The Zlatoust Centre and A.S. Pushkin Institute of Russian Language prepared the programme jointly with local partners.
The participants discussed the methods of teaching the Russian language, activation of speech and career choices.
The Russian Language in Tajikistan Today and Tomorrow seminar and a plenary session, involving university lecturers and representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, took place on the final day. Russian experts conducted master classes for students, and teachers from 13 regions of Tajikistan shared their experience during the special session.
