The parties discussed the prospects for expanding economic cooperation at the meeting between the foreign ministers of Tajikistan and Croatia. The Croatian delegation, headed by Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, was accompanied by a group of entrepreneurs, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The programme of the visit included the Business Summit, involving representatives of the business circles from the two countries. They discussed cooperation opportunities in tourism, agricultural processing, pharmaceuticals and mechanical engineering.
Following the forum, the foreign ministries of the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Over the 25-year history of diplomatic relations, Tajikistan and Croatia have laid a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation, including interaction within the European Union.
