Uzbekistan and Malaysia promote smart city collaboration

Short-term training programmes on this theme will be developed specifically for Uzbekistan.

The prospects for implementing joint urban infrastructure development projects were discussed during a meeting between Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev and Chairman of Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association Raslan Ahmad. They parties agreed to exchange experiences and study best practices of the Malaysian cities, the Dunyo News Agency reports.

Special training programs in smart cities, digital transformation and environmental management will be developed for Uzbekistan.

It is planned to arrange a visit of a delegation of the Alliance Association to Uzbekistan to promote practical cooperation.

Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association, founded in 2018, unites over 100 participants and specialises in the development of public-private partnerships, the exchange of innovative solutions and the organisation of specialised events of the smart cities movement.
