President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and President of France Emmanuel Macron met on the sidelines of the One Water Summit in Riyadh, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.
The President of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude for extending hospitality during his recent visit to France and noted the importance of the agreements reached, which have brought Kazakh-French relations to a new level of strategic partnerships. He emphasised that the visit was an important step to strengthen economic ties and boost long-run growth.
«It is gratifying that we see tangible results from the implementation of key agreements in various areas just a few weeks later,» Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev added.
Macron focused on the progress in bilateral relations, noting the importance of joint work in such areas as the solutions to climate change and green economic development.
