On November 29, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Hungary for a working visit. Hero-Arkadag will take part in the 16th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a member of the Council of Elders and a guest of honour, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received an invitation to participate in the regular meeting from Chairman of the OTS Council of Elders Binali Yildirim. The upcoming event will be a significant step to strengthen cooperation among the Turkic peoples.
Turkmenistan-Hungary long-standing cooperation is built on mutual respect and consistently strengthened in priority areas. Regular contacts at the highest and government levels play a special role in this process, as illustrated by the results of the official visits of the President of Hungary to Turkmenistan in 2011 and the Prime Minister of Hungary in 2023.
