Chairman of the Government of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and Ambassador of the Russian Federation Sergey Vakunov held a meeting in Bishkek. Particular attention was paid to promoting cooperation in education. They identified the modernisation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University as the key project, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of aspects of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, part of which is the development of joint educational projects.
The representatives of the two countries confirmed their intention to expand cooperation and implement joint projects in various areas, including education, economy and culture.
