Following the working visit to the cities and districts in Sughd Region, the President of Tajikistan held a meeting with the heads of regional administration and activists in Guliston, where the impressive economic and social development indicators of the region were presented. Music schools will be built in each city and district, he said during the meeting, Asia-Plus reports.
In preparation for the 35th anniversary of state independence of Tajikistan, the President set the new tasks for the regional authorities, including the modernisation of cultural institutions by Navruz in 2025 and the creation of a network of music schools in each city and district of the region.
Over 55,000 new jobs have been created in Sughd Region over the past 10 months, which testifies to the dynamic economic development of the region. Particular attention is paid to developing social infrastructure: dozens of educational and health institutions have been built, and the road network has been reconstructed.
