9 new innovative schools equipped with modern technologies will be built in Kyrgyzstan, Sputnik reported.
The Parliament of the Republic approved the Law On ratification of the grant agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Development Bank, signed in Bishkek last July, at second reading. In accordance with the law, Russia will construct new schools. Educational institutions will be built in each region of the country.
According to First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Bekzhan Supanaliev, innovative schools will meet international standards. It is planned to spend about $400,000-450,000 on construction, but the exact amount will be known after the design and estimate documentation is prepared. Supanaliev emphasised that each school will have swimming pools, gyms and assembly halls.
