University students in Bishkek switch to online classes for 2 days

The reason for this decision is the visits of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and the OTS Summit.

Restrictive measures are being introduced in the capital of Kyrgyzstan in view of the high-level international events. All institutions of higher education in Bishkek will switch to online classes on November 5-6, Sputnik reports.

These days, the capital will host 2 distinguished guests: President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, whose visits are scheduled for November 5.

On November 6, the city will host the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States under the theme «Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future and Security for All».

On November 4-6, traffic will be restricted on several streets in Bishkek and Chui Region. Employees of ministries and government agencies will switch to remote work as well.
