A representative of the Ministry Aigerim Urazalieva clarified that mobile primary healthcare teams will be involved in handling category IV calls during working hours to improve operational efficiency.
The Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan officially explained the new rules of the work mode of the ambulance service, Sputnik reports.
As before, all patients who call 103, will receive medical care.
“Mobile primary healthcare teams will be involved in handling category IV calls during working hours to improve operational efficiency,” a representative of the Ministry Aigerim Urazalieva clarified.
Ambulance teams will handle all calls in the evening and at night, as well as on weekends.
There will be no changes for citizens, but the quality and speed of services are expected to improve. Ambulance dispatchers will transfer certain cases to mobile teams that operate from 8:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and until 12:00 on Saturdays.
