President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Order authorising to award valuable gifts to the two citizens of Turkmenistan for their contribution to raising Turkmen sports to a higher level, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
The Order authorises to present as a gift on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan for promoting the significant achievements and raising the authority of Turkmenistan on the world sports arena:
— a white Toyota Camry V6 passenger car, made in 2023, to a student from Turkmen State Institute of Finance Alp Arslan Begenjov for winning 1st place and a gold medal at the U20 World Junior Wrestling Championships, which was held in Pontevedra (Spain) on September 2-8, 2024;
— a white Toyota Camry V6 passenger car, made in 2023, to Shahzadbek Myatyakubov, a student from Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports for winning 1st place and a gold medal at the World Junior Weightlifting Championships, which was held in Leon (Spain) on September 19-28, 2024.
