On September 4, Minister of Defence of Turkmenistan Begench Gundogdyev reported on the work done in January-August during the Security Council meeting. The Minister informed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the preparations for the military parade in honour of the 33rd anniversary of independence, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
The Minister reported on the measures taken to optimise the activities of the subdivisions and create favourable conditions for the service and life of Armed Forces personnel and the successful completion of entrance exams to the specialised educational institutions of military and law enforcement agencies.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the upcoming solemn military parade in honour of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan. In this regard, the President instructed Begench Gundogdyev to ensure a high level of organisation and take effective measures to improve the education level and professional skills of Armed Forces personnel.
