On August 30, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the work done in the fuel and energy sector in January-July at the government meeting, the IIC portal reported.
Amanov noted that the Turkmennebit State Concern fulfilled the oil production plan by 102.6 percent and the oil refining plan by 102.9 percent. The gasoline production plan was fulfilled by 108.5 percent, the polypropylene production plan by 112 percent and the lubricating oils production plan by 110.6 percent.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers informed the President about the indicators of liquefied gas production and natural and associated “blue fuel” extraction and exports. Amanov added that the investment plan from all sources of financing was fulfilled by 119.1 percent.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of using the oil and gas enterprises at full capacity. In this context, the President highlighted the need to further improve the activities of the fuel and energy sector, instructing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to increase the production of oil and refined oil products.
