The closing ceremony of the Children of the Commonwealth International Cultural and Educational Forum that brought together schoolchildren from seven countries, including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, took place in Kyrgyzstan, the press office of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat reported.
Director of the Bishkek branch of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations Nurbek Satvaldiev is the organiser of the event in Cholpon-Ata.
He congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the forum, emphasising that it gave children an excellent opportunity to communicate and tell each other about the customs and traditions of their nations.
Speaking at the ceremony in Cholpon-Ata, Head of the Working Group Bakhtiyar Kadyrov noted that the main aim of the organisers was to unite children from different countries through a variety of educational, cultural and health improvement activities.
