On June 22, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent an Address to the participants of the Culture Week in Arkadag City. The President congratulated them on the opening of the event and wished them good health, family well-being and creative achievements, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«For the first time, this large-scale art forum is being hosted by Arkadag City, built on the Smart City Concept in the year of the widely celebrated 300th birth anniversary of the great thinker and classical poet Magtymguly Fraghi, which is of particular significance,» Berdimuhamedov noted.
The President said Arkadag City has become famous for its modern cultural and educational institutions. These are Dovletmammet Azadi Library, Gyorogly State Equestrian Circus, Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theatre, the History and Local Nature Museum, Sahy Jepbarov Specialized Art School and Shukur Bakhshi Children’s Art School.
«Nowadays we attach particular importance to promoting fine, decorative, applied, singing, theatre and film arts and improving the media activities. Therefore, the Culture Week events, representing these arts, will be rich in content and should reflect the results of work in this sphere,» Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
