On May 24, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov delivered a speech at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Moscow. He said Kyrgyzstan considers it necessary to set up a supranational development institution within the EAEU that will develop, provide analytical support and finance integration projects similar to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of Russia, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The continuing priority of Kyrgyzstan in the Union is to enhance the role of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the EAEU Court in removing barriers in the internal market of the EAEU, he noted.
Japarov noted that these institutions should be effective supranational bodies capable of quickly resolving disputes in the movement of goods. To do this, they should have the authority to conduct investigations into violations of the rights of the EAEU by its member states and set deadlines for eliminating such violations.
He emphasised that the EAEU is turning into an independent and self-sufficient pole of economic development and can independently meet its needs.
