Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan visits Operational Management Centre

The Minister learned about digital technologies used by law enforcement agencies in their work.

On April 27, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetjanov visited the Operational Management Centre of the Police Department in the capital city, where he learned about the measures taken to digitalise the sector, the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan reports.

The Minister inspected the progress in the introduction of modern information technologies, digital transformation and de-bureaucratisation of the work of law enforcement agencies and enhancement of their human orientation.

Such digital innovations as the Antinarko graffiti application that allows detecting and promptly eliminating illicit drug add, the Safe Home software that helps residents collaborate with district police officers and the Entertainment Safety Ratings software were presented.

With the aim of improving collaboration between residents and district police officers, their personal date tables were upgraded. Henceforth, residents can contact and inform a district police officer about any problem by scanning a QR code.

The specialists of the Operational Management Centre reported that the work towards expanding the range of e-services and introducing advanced technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies would continue.
