On April 27, Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov addressed the II Tashkent International Investment Forum, noting that the forum has served as a solid international discussion platform and has a great future, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that President Sadyr Japarov instructed him to participate in the forum.
Zhaparov said the world community is witnessing a shift in the global economy’s centre of gravity.
«By 2050, perhaps even earlier, emerging economies will have grown around twice as fast as advanced economies and be double the size of the G-7 countries. We can see the world moving towards fragmentation into regional and sub-regional economic blocs. Moreover, they will have economic weight and global authority,» he said.
The Prime Minister added that the food prices have climbed to their highest level in decades all over the world, and the highest food prices that the world has never seen over the past 60 years.
