Work is underway to simplify opening of home-type kindergartens in Bishkek

Women who have received special training and get registered as individual entrepreneurs will be allowed to open home-type kindergartens in residential premises.

On April 25, Ombudsman for Children of Kyrgyzstan Asel Chynbayeva reported that a pilot project aimed at doubling the enrolment rate in preschool education would be implemented in the country. It will be piloted in the new residential areas in Leninsky and Pervomaisky districts of Bishkek, the press office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

«Chynbayeva said President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov set the task of doubling the enrolment rate in preschool education by 2026. On December 22, 2022, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov signed an order regarding preschool educational institutions,» the message says.

Since the order provides for the simplification of the opening and development of kindergartens, work is underway to facilitate the opening of home-type kindergartens in residential premises by individuals. Women who have received special short-term training and get registered as individual entrepreneurs will be allowed to open home-type kindergartens in residential premises.

The project will be launched in the new residential areas in Bishkek: Archa-Beshik, Ala-Too, Ak-Ordo, Ak-Bosogo, Kalys-Ordo and Muras-Ordo.
